This trip is best suited to the trekkers who want to skip the exhilarating flight to Lukla, take more joys of walking, and enjoy the fun of pacing the definitive tracks flattened by Hillary and Tenzing back in 1953. The trek begins from Jiri and eventually traverses through Lamjura Pass and Tragsindo Pass eventually leading you to Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is a beautiful village where you will encounter with the Sherpas and their incredible culture.
Challenging trek provides relief with the prayer flags, stupas, chortens and Mani walls along the trail. Traditional Sherpa villages entertain us with their unique cultures and warm hospitality. The various stupas, Gompas, and monasteries make the trek a serene, religious experience.
Base camp trekking route is designed to aid in acclimatization and rest in the strenuous trek. The trail passes through lush forests, greeneries, glacial rivers, and traditional villages. The trip reaches a maximum elevation of 5545 meters at Kalapathar.
The major tourist attractions of the trek are the varied landscape, flora and faunas along with the Himalayan Sherpa Ethos. You will see the breathtaking view of mountains like Cho You, Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Luptse. A thrilling flight to Kathmandu from Lukla will give a great conclusion to the trek.

From Tribhuvan International Airport you will be moved to your hotel room. In the afternoon we will invite you to our office for a briefing about each day program. Today we will hand over your Sagarmatha National Park Permits and TIMS.
Your sightseeing of this ancient city begins at around 8:30 am, after breakfast. A dedicated tour guide and a relaxing private vehicle will be available for your assistance. First, we will visit the biggest Hindu temple of Nepal, Pashupati Nath, which predates to Lichhavi period. Then, to Boudha Nath, and Swayambhu Nath, shrines of Lord Buddha, uniquely built-in Stupa style architecture. The evening will be spent at Kathmandu Durbar Square, testimonial of middle age architecture.
Drive to Shivalaya via Jiri(1838m) From early in morning after having breakfast go to Old Bus Park and catch a bus for Jiri. Though situated 210km away from Kathmandu the bus requires 8 to 9 hours for Shivalaya. Overnight at Teahouse.
We will continue our trek to the village of Bhandar. The trail offers lovely scenery of the countryside. Lush farms, grazing cattle and warm farmers will greet us on our way up. We will walk past the scenic rhododendron and oak forests. On reaching Shivalaya, we will hike up again to Sangbadanada, continue climbing to Deurali Pass. Then another 1 house further downhill to Bhandar. We can spend the rest of our day exploring this old-style local village and take rest.
Walking from Bhandar the trail is downhill to the village of Doharpa and Baranda until crossing the steel bridge at Tharo Khola(1480m). Preceding our trek to the east bank of the river we will climb uphill towards Kinja and continue our trek to Sete. Overnight at a teahouse.
Hiking begins with a gradual climb to Lamjura pass at 3530 m. The trail is adorned with fog and snow in winter and lush rhododendron forests in the spring. After the pass, we stop for lunch and then proceed to Tragdobuk and then finally to the beautiful Sherpa village, Junbesi.
Start to trek early in the morning cross Junbesi Khola and climb uphill. From the top one can witness the spectacular vista of Everest, Thamserku, Kantega and Mera Peak. After passing Ringmo Khola the trail climbs uphill to Ringmo Village. After Ringmo we will climb Trakshindu La Pass (2930m) a superb example of Sherpa architecture. Now we will trek downhill until we reach Nhuntala.
Trek to Kharikhola, The trail goes down to Dudh Koshi river and cross the bridge and climb up to Khari Khola via Jubhing village. It takes 5 hours then Stay overnight at lodge.
From KhariKhola, we will climb up the steep hill to Bupsadanda, a small settlement on top of a ridge, in the morning. From there, we will hike up to Bhumsing (2,300m). We will walk past oak and rhododendron forests and if we get lucky, we might have a glimpse of Langour Monkeys! We will stop at Puiyan (2,796m) for lunch. After a yum lunch, we will continue a winding trail and then go downhill for some time to reach Surkhe. We can view Lukla airstrip and the town of Lukla from there. We will have dinner and spend the night at a local teahouse.
Today we will meet the main trail of Everest base camp trekking, people start trek from Lukla after 35m flying. it will be joining in chheplung and catch the main trail to Phakding.6 hours walking then stay overnight at lodge.
Leaving Chepplung we will continue of a walk to Tharo Koshi River. After crossing the river the trail ascends to Ghat (2600m) and walk climp to Phakding. We climb over steep and stony rim towards Benkar (2630m). Continuing our trek we cross the Kyashar Khola River and climb for Monjo (2840m). Just away from Monjo, we enter Sagarmatha National Park. From here after crossing few rivers and climbs we will reach Namche Bazaar (3440m). Namche Bazaar is the main trading centre of this region with hotels, lodges and restaurants.
Rest for a day in Namche to acclimatize to the increasing altitudes. We have a leisure day to visit the Everest view hotel for the panoramic views of the Khumbu giants. Walk around Khumjung valley and visit Hillary school, Khunde hospital and the Sherpa museum. Also, interact with the warm Sherpa and Rai people.
Our day start’s with our trek with a pleasant walk through the forest with a magnificent view of mountains. The great view of the mighty peaks of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde will be at our disposal all day long. Today’s trail ascends through the forest on its way to Tyangboche. The first thing that could draw your attention after reaching Tyangboche might be its beautifully big monastery. Tyangboche has a large campsite, tea houses and lodges overseeing Mt. Ama Dablam. We will finish the day by spending the night in a hotel in Tyangboche.
Today we hike to Dingbuche 5 hours walking through Pangbuche village and Somare and after that, you will meet two trails one is lead to Dingbuche other one is leading to Pheriche . follow the right side and cross the small bridge then reach to Dingbuche.Stay overnight at lodge.
After nourishing breakfast, we will continue our ascent, few hours walk to Chukung (4,760m), from where we can see the beautiful mountains up close and even better. Here, at Chukung, we can go for exploration. The point is to adapt to high climate to avoid Altitude Mountain Sickness (AMS). We will hike down the following evening to Dingboche to spend the night.
We continue today’s trek to Lobuche. After walking 40 minutes from Dingboche we arrive at Chorten Prayer Stupa. On looking down we see the village of Pheriche. The route offers the majestiv views of Mt Tawache, Ama Dablam and Nuptse. Crossing the river of Khumbu glacier near Dukla we continue our trek for a while and have our lunch at Dukla. Preceding our walk we will arrive in the village of Lobuche. Overnight at a teahouse.
From Lobuche, first, we walk on a flat trail and then on rough and icy Khumbu glacier. As we enjoy the views of Everest, Nuptse, Khumbutse, and Pumori we pass through Thangma Riju and Changri Glacier. Then we finally reach Gorakshep where we stay the night.
Early in the morning climb Kala Patthar and enjoy the spectacular view of the sun rising. From Kala Patthar, one can see Mt Everest, Mt Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbetse, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku along with many other. Climb downhill have lunch and trek to Pheriche. Pheriche is a small town where all the facilities of communication are available. Here we can find Himalayan Rescue Association Aid.
From Khunde, we descend to Namche Bazaar, the business capital of Khumbu region. We meet different tourists, porters and trekkers in here and share our travel stories. We spend the night here.
On the final day of the trek, we walk back to the flat land of Lukla. Our trek ends as we exit the Sagarmatha National park. We explore the beautiful area of Lukla and spend the night here.
We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey. After reaching Kathmandu, we can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. If we want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, we may do that today. Our guides can help you with both souvenir shopping or sightseeing. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of our journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.
