Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is an astounding hiking trail of Nepal, particularly intended with the blend of the remote and attractive valley of Langtang. Gosaikunda walk is situated in Langtang region of Gosaikunda; the holy lake has assimilated its repute among both the Hindus and the Buddhists. Thousands of companions visit the lake every year in the full- moon night in August. According to Hindu folklore- when the God jerked the embryonic ocean to produce medication of continuing life, the fatal was also produced along with the medicine to protect the cosmos from this poison, Lord Shiva drank it. So, the gullet of Lord Shiva is still blue because of the effect of the poison. To cool down his burning oesophagus, Lord Shiva hit his armament into the rock making three springs which lastly caused in the creation of lovely lakes. Finally, Lord Shiva drank the water of the ponds and got respite from the pain. Hence, this is how the lake Gosaikunda was formed.

You will be warmly welcomed at the airport by our workplace representative and then you will transfer to hotel. Our staff will give a brief explanation about the program.
Today after breakfast we start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath) and Buddhist shrine (Bouddhanath), which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Wake up early in the morning. Have a breakfast at the hotel. Drive few minutes to catch up coach for Syabrubeshi with your trekking guide and porter. The coach departs at 7 o’clock. Enjoy seven our scenic drive through Trishuli Valley with villages, river, and mountains. The bus stops half an hour nearby highway restaurants on the way for lunch. You will be reached at Syabrubeshi (1,460m/4788ft) around 2 or 3 o’clock. Check in at mountain lodge at Syabrubeshi. The rest of the day is free.
Today is a shorter walk but enough for adjustment. The surroundings are exciting also because of the famous Cheese factory. This beautiful valley in the circuit of the Langtang Lirung and other around. A place to explore the valley and lots of small peaks to climb. Overnight at guesthouse.
We continue ascending from Lama Hotel and enjoy the mountain landscape with abundant waterfalls. As we reach the green meadows of Ghoda Tabela, we begin to see the white peaks of the Langtang range. Our trail carries on to climb up the widening valley, passing a few provisional settlements used by herders. We pass a Buddhist monastery before reaching the Langtang village which was affected by the April 2015 earthquake.
Leaving the Langtang Valley, we will clamber uphill all the way to Sindum and Yamphu. Later the path takes us through Laja Khola to arrive at a viewing podium which provides the panoramic views of Kyanjin Gompa and icefall from Lirung and Kinshung. Below to the viewpoint exists Kyanjin Gompa where we will stay overnight.
On the 7th day, we will take a well-deserved rest from trekking and ease up our stiff muscles. Kyanjin Gompa offers splendid views of Langtang Lirung, Genjempol and Kenga Himal ranges. The cheese factory, Buddhist monastery and Tsergo Ri (5033m) are other sites which you would like visiting. mostly we recommended for Tsergo Ri Hike, which provides you with a stunning view of mountains and when you be on the top of Tsergo Ri Unbelievable mountains will surround you.
We begin our trek after breakfast and review our steps to Lama Hotel. Most of the trekking today will be effortless as we pass from side to side forests and beautiful Tamang villages. We also get to enjoy the different sight of the Himalayas that we had missed climbing up. Overnight in Lama Hotel.
This is a day to end your walking in Himalaya wilderness after arrived in Syabrubesi our trekking starting point after 5 hours walk.
Short walk but it is vital to not reach Gosaikunda today because the steady increase in height will help us familiarize better with the high altitude. From the checkpoint, we passage south and pass by Garta Village and Phulung Monastery before attainment Shin Gompa to employ the night.

Moving around the lake’s coast before uphill towards the Laurebina Pass (4610m). The Helambu region begins at the Lauribina La (pass) and inclines to the Melamchi valley. The trail is bumpy and marks rubbles, but is well marked with cairns. We pass through 3 more small lakes before attainment the pass. We climb a small hill and like outstanding views of the area. Our trail passes through Surya Kunda before accomplishment Ghopte.
We walk uphill and downhill on a trace that passes through dense forests. Walking on a trail through the forest will take us to Thare Pati Village. We scramble a ridge overhead the village and endure our trek. The view from the ridge of the Nepalese hills and Soli Danda in specific is stunning. We cross 2 suspension bridges before reaching Melamchigaon which is a good-looking village that communities a monastery.
Passing a stupa and cross a small watercourse below Tarkeghyang. Our trail passes over forests that prime up to Ama Yangri which is the uppermost point of our trek today located at 3,800m. There are a stupa and Buddhist prayer garlands at the top of the hill. Furthermore, we get spectacular views of Mt. Shishapangma and the Langtang ranges. The mountains are so close that we feel that we can almost touch them. As we slope we can often see yaks cropping in the bushes before inflowing a forest. We also walk on a trail made of broken stone before reaching Tarkeghyang which is a beautiful Sherpa village.
Our trek begins after breakfast. The trail is relaxed and permits through lush forests. We also pass by beautiful villages, chortens, a monastery and a mani partition before reaching Sermathang. It’s a beautiful Sherpa Village with unbelievable views of Ganesh Himal, Jugal Himal and the Langtang ranges. On a clear day, we can even see Mt. Everest in the detachment.
We trek through pastures, fields and beautiful villages to reach Melamchi Bazaar. From here we drive to Kathmandu and ruminate about our trip in the Langtang and Helambu regions. After reaching Kathmandu, we ventilate up and take a rest.
