Gosainkunda Trek is considered as a short, relaxed and picturesque trek situated near from Kathmandu. The trek offers panoramic scenery of Mt. Langtang range, Himal Chuli 7893m, Mt. Manaslu 8156m and Ganesh Himal range as well as often chance to see Annapurna Range on a clear day.
Gosaikunda Trek, we pass a few huts in the high picture of Laurebina La, cross a small ridge and have our first views of the holy lakes. In Gosaikunda region there are numerous lakes. The main three are Saraswatikunda, Bhairabkunda, and Gosainkunda.

Meet and greet at Tribhuvan International Airport and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will invite to visit our office for a briefing about each day program. Today you will receive your Langtang National Park Permits and TIMS.
Today after breakfast we start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. These landmarks are World Heritage Sites including the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath) and Buddhist shrine (Bouddhanath), which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Today we will drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal which is about an hour’s drive journey. From Sundarijal we will start our hike following the trail that is a steady uphill trekking through numerous villages and terraced farmlands. We will make a stop at Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park check post for permit registration. From there we will trek along the ridge top road as it passes through oak filled forest towards the tea houses of Chisapani.
Beginning Chisapani our trail descends to a saddle at Pati Bhanjyang and then climb towards another saddle known as Thankune Bhanjyang. From here we will make a steep ascent to arrive at the village of Chipping and carry on our climb to the top of Manjyu Danda edge from where we will have marvellous views of high peaks to the north. From the highest of the ridge, we will incline all the way to the saddle village of Gul Bhanjyang.
From Gul Bhanjyang, we will climb a ridge to the north until we arrive at the Sherpa community of Kutumsang. Here there is a Langtang National Park office where we need to show our park receipt and register our details. From Kutumsang we will climb through oak and rhododendron filled forest towards Kyuola Bhanjyang. From there, our trail descends a little before climbing an easy gradient to arrive at Magen Goth where there are few tea houses and a large campsite. Overnight stay at a tea house.
Parting Magen Goth we will track the trail that goes through dense rhododendron forest passing through the village of Therapati and near a major trail junction where we must go left. We will slowly ascend as the trail traverses through a forest and then stony hillside to arrive at Ghopte. From here we will follow the well-established trail crossing through several waterfall areas and continue trekking until we reach Phedi.
Destination in our Gosainkunda Trek, from Phedi we will climb up into the gorge dominated by Surya Peak to the north. We will cross the icy section of the trail before ascending towards Lauribinayak La Pass. We will descend from the top of the pass into a valley passing a couple of small lakes and continue trekking as we approach the holiest of the lakes – Gosainkunda.
Subsequently travelling around the holy lake Gosaikunda, we will follow an exposed trail that heads near a series of Buddhist chorten before entering the thickly forested area. Our trail descends passing through the village of Sing Gompa and heads towards Chandan Bari.
We will follow the trail that descends rapidly through an inspiring forest all the way down to Trisuli river. We will cross over the bridge to the south bank and continue to trek on an undulating trail that leads to Dhunche.
After having breakfast, we will take a picturesque drive from Dhunche over the crisscross hilly road that will take us back to Kathmandu. During our drive journey, we will opportunity to have glimpses of daily activities of local people for their existence while we drive passing through several towns and small villages.
Last day of our Gosainkunda Trek, our representative will drop you at the International Airport as per your flight schedule.
